The Bizkaia-based waste-to-energy plant Zabalgarbi celebrated its 20th anniversary on 20 October at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao, in an event that brought together more than 150 attendees, including institutional representatives, sector stakeholders, partner companies, civil society and staff members.
The event was attended by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the General Assemblies of Bizkaia and the Basque Government, reflecting the strong institutional support for the plant’s trajectory and its commitment to the territory.
The celebration took place in a carefully designed and well-coordinated setting, in keeping with the institutional nature of the occasion.
